Some friends and I have started a weekly podcast called "Water Cooler TV".

It features some great tv shows and talks about what makes them great and why. There's speculation on what's going to happen next too.

You can subscribe to the cast through iTunes, just search for Water Cooler TV and then click subscribe.

We're happy with the initial results and have some great ideas to tweak the show format and keep things moving along, so check it out!

Although it's not offered as part of our premiere video production service, we occasionally will do voice-work for clients.

Case in point, Playmaker Athletic Center in Marysville, Ohio.

The :30 commercial was produced by one our partners, John LaRoche.

John helps create some of our graphics and is very instrumental in our Game On Sports Video production. He designs the ballcards we use in our baseball videos and he designed and created the Game On Sports Videos logo.

His commercial features lively video highlighting the activities you can do at the indoor athletic center. For the commercial, Dtrk Productions provided the voice.

Dtrk Productions and Telestar Media delivered new commercial production for Carpetland in greater Cincinnati.

The spots were produced using After Effects and LiveType for special effects and composited, edited and color corrected in Final Cut Pro.

The 30 second and 10 second commercials are currently running on several Cincinnati television stations and continue our partnership with Telestar and the Carpetland franchise.

The spots relied on a number of footage elements, including some locally shot material. The challenge was to match the local video footage with the national "canned" elements, which were shot on 35mm film. Through a process in Final Cut, we were able to make the scenes seemless with the film footage.

Telestar Media and Dtrk Productions are currently in preproduction on a series of new commercials for Carpetland stores in the greater Cincinnati area.
These spots are due to begin a January run next week and will be produced in the following days.
Audio for the spots is to be recorded at Madison Park productions of Cincinnati.
The creative for the spots is written and produced by Telestar Media.

All the elements come together at Dtrk Productions to form high-impact, eye-catching commercials.

This run continues an outstanding working relationship with Telestar Media - a Cincinnati based media creation company - that is well into its second year.

Our other projects have included, Rainbow Playsets, Handyman Connection and Housetrends Home and Bath Show.
